Bradfield College required a roof safety system to gain access to the main chiller room for the canteen. In recent years there has been no safety system until a temporary scaffold guardrail and walkway was recently put in place. Our installation division was asked to attend the site to advise on an appropriate, permanent, cost effective safety solution.
We recommended the following safety solutions:
- KEEGUARD Free Standing Guard Rail – providing the operatives a safety guard rail whilst walking across the roof to access the plant chiller room
- KEE WALK traversing modular walkway, adaptable, flexible on site, providing a safe walkway to the plant chiller room avoiding any slip, trip and fall hazards
- Cat Ladder to gain access up to roof level safely
Bradfield College was looking for a permanent solution to a difficult access area that is regularly used. The products recommended and installed were exactly what the customer needed and have given the college a walkway that takes into account the tricky angled roof.
