Installation Details

KEE ACCESS DDA hand rails have been installed at the Keighley railway station in West Yorkshire providing easy access for disabled to and around  the station.

DDA handrails have been powder coated to create the warm to touch hand railing system that meets Equality Act 2010 (previously DDA) requirements and Part M of the Building Regulations. Under the terms of the Equality Act 2010, reasonable adjustments need to be made to public and commercial establishments, including railway stations, to overcome physical barriers which prevent disabled access.

The Building Regulations recommend an outside diameter tube size for installations of between 40mm-45mm. KEE ACCESS tubular fittings are specifically designed to give a smooth handrail with size 7 tube (outside diameter 42.4mm) ensuring compatibility with the regulations.
